From an uploaded CAD file or a simple online template to a custom manufactured part. Here is what to expect at each step.
For a 3D printed part, use 3D print quoting with STEP, STP, STL, or 3MF. For a three-dimensional machined part, use CNC quoting with a STEP or STP file. For a flat laser-cut profile, use laser quoting with a DXF. No CAD file? The Laser Template Builder supports configurable shapes and signs.

Upload your file or enter dimensions in the template builder. Check the preview and the displayed size. For CNC, submit one solid body per STEP file. For laser work, use clean 2D cut profiles. For printing, upload one closed, connected part; confirm STL source units, or check the automatically converted STEP/3MF size. The confirmed millimeter STL preview is the print production model; your original upload is kept as a reference.
Read the design guidelines before ordering if your part has close fits, threads, small details, or special requirements.
Choose from the materials offered by your quote tool and enter the quantity. For CNC parts, specify tapped-hole sizes and counts when required. For colored laser materials, choose the available color. For 3D prints, choose PLA in white, black, red, blue, orange, or green, or black PETG-CF or TPU. Set the quantity and infill, then confirm the size and preview. KRC selects the print orientation and supports.
Use the materials guide to compare options. Confirm units and dimensions before adding your part to the cart. Do not assume thread details or special tolerances can be inferred from the model.
Add your parts to the shared KRC cart. Verify every item’s material, quantity, size, and price, then enter your delivery details and review the checkout total before paying.
Adding a part to the cart does not place an order. Complete checkout and retain the payment confirmation for your records.
KRC checks the submitted design and manufacturing requirements before production. 3D print prices use a geometry-based estimate; KRC reviews slicing, supports, and manufacturability before printing. An instant quote does not replace that review. If a detail needs clarification, KRC will contact you.
The CNC instant quote tool is currently in beta. If KRC cannot manufacture a CNC part as quoted, the order may be declined and fully refunded before production begins.
After the order details and production files are confirmed, KRC manufactures your parts and prepares them for shipment. Timing depends on the process, material availability, quantity, and complexity.
Have a deadline? Ask KRC to confirm timing before ordering. Shipping transit time is separate from production time. Local pickup is by arrangement.
A model, drawing, sketch, or clear reference photo can start the conversation. Include the material, quantity, important dimensions, intended use, and requested delivery date.
Tell us if you need CAD design, tighter tolerances, finishing, an assembly, or a material that is not listed online. Design work and additional services are quoted separately.
The instant tools cover a defined range of parts. Larger parts, quantities above the online limit, complex geometry, and special requirements need a manual review.

The existing quoting tools send eligible parts to the shared KRC cart. Check each line item and the final checkout total before paying.
Send KRC the file and your requirements. A manual-review message means the part needs a closer look; it does not automatically mean it cannot be made.
Contact KRC immediately with the order reference and revised file. Do not assume a replacement file has been accepted or production can be stopped. Changes must be confirmed with KRC.
